Even though you can enjoy TBCo around the world, we’re super proud of being an Edinburgh-based brand.
But there’s more to our town than tartans and trews: Edinburgh is Scotland’s capital city and the world’s number-one festival destination - and with so much to do and see, it’s no surprise that Edinburgh is at the top of everyone’s travel list.
What to do in Edinburgh
What can’t you do in Edinburgh? Old Town and the Royal Mile are tried and tested by tourists around the world, but if you’re up for something off the beaten track, Stockbridge is the scene for you.
A 20-minute walk from Waverly Train Station (or hop on the number 29 bus for a 10-minute journey), Stockbridge is filled with independent shops, like TOAST, and eateries which, in our not-so-humble opinion, are some of the best places to stop off for a bit of brunch.
Being based in Leith ourselves, we’re obviously going to suggest you make a trip to our neck of the woods.
Aside from having some of the best businesses in Edinburgh here (wink wink nudge nudge), Leith is by the water and boasts some of the best waterfront views in the city.

If you want to expand your Edinburgh horizons, we recommend a trip east to North Berwick for some fresh sea air and beaches you’ll never want to leave.
On the other side of town near Bonnington, you can find Jupiter Artland, where outdoor art exhibits and installations will leave you feeling inspired (and wondering how you’re only 10 miles outside the city centre!).

Where is TBCo in Edinburgh?
Only in the best spot in town! You can find TBCo on Great Junction Street in Leith - and it’s so easy to get to us from the city centre.
There are a number of busses including the 25 and 10 which bring you outside our door, or you can walk for around 25 minutes down Leith Walk from Waverly.
You can also jump on the newly opened trams using our handy guide on Tik Tok, and find us at 170B Great Junction Street, Leith, EH6 5LJ, Monday - Saturday 10am - 6pm.

Okay, the important part - a city is only as good as its food, and Edinburgh is the best. We asked our team to share their favourite eateries in and around town, and the list was honestly endless. But here are some of our top picks:
Where to eat and drink in Leith
- Moonwake Taproom for a cold pint brewed right there on the premises.
- Kafeneion to Steki - who says you have to leave Scotland to get a taste of the Mediterranean?
- Lost in Leith: when the sun is out, sit by the water and enjoy a choice of brews, cocktails and soft drinks.
- Domenicos is great for a spot of lunch, with sandwiches and wraps filled to the brim.
- Faceplant is the place to be for a plant-based feast that will leave you wanting more. And more. And more and more and more.

Top 5 reasons to visit Edinburgh
If we’re being completely honest, we could give a million reasons why you should visit Edinburgh, but we’ve narrowed it down to our top five.
- Pure aesthetic. You’ll find a different view every few steps with the ability to go from city life to country living in less than a few miles - and it all looks gorgeous.
- The architecture not only provides the perfect backdrop for an insta-worthy snap (thank you Dean Village), but with medieval buildings dominating the skyline in Old Town, you’ll find history in every nook and cranny.
- Scottish folk are some of the best people out there, and it’s worth visiting just to get caught up in the craic and friendliness you’ll find in our wee city.
