Blog From a Dog
Hi guys! Alfie here, the unofficial third co-founder of The Tartan Blanket Co. I’m here to deliver a very important announcement: PET BLANKETS. Yes, hoomans, you heard! We’ve been stealing your woolly blankets for long enough, it's time we had our very own.
Recycled Wool Pet Blankets
A short while ago in human years, we asked a paw-tential question: what tartans and designs would you like to see woven into pet blankets? And boy, oh boy did you answer! Since then, we've designed a whole range available in Small and Large so you can find the perfect size for your fur baby, whether they're a pampered pooch, a fabulous feline, or a bouncing bunny! And like I mentioned before, it's time we had our very own blankets, so please ask for embroidery and add our names. Along with our Recycled Wool Pet Blankets, we also have Rescued Recycled Wool Pet Blankets. Let me tell you more!
Rescued Recycled Wool Pet Blankets
I hear you asking, "What's so special about these pet blankets and why do you have two kinds, Alfie?" Well, I am so glad you asked. Just like so many of our furry friends, these special pet blankets are rescues! Instead of letting the offcuts from our recycled wool blankets for humans go to waste, we gather them into these super sustainable pet blankets, which means they are recycled x2. What’s that saying? One man’s trash is another man’s treasure? Well, these are more like one man’s treasure is another pet’s treasure! Using surplus blanket fabric means they can sometimes be a little ‘ruff’ around the edges, which is why they’re available at a lower price than our other pet blankets.
Wool is naturally odour resistant, moisture-wicking, temperature regulating, and hypoallergenic! Did you know our recycled wool is machine washable? Yes hoomans, machine washable! How claw-some is that? (I was told I had to add a cat pun). So, if we have a little accident or decide to roll around in the mud, rest assured that our blanket can be thrown into the washing machine for a freshen.
That's all from me! My hoomans, Emma & Fergus, and their little hoomans are taking me for a W-A-L-K (they think I won't understand if they spell it out) along to Portobello Beach. There will be lots of fetching, doggie-paddling, and hopefully they'll let me lick the ice cream from their faces! Until next time, I'll leave you with some of my paw-ffice pet friends pets-timonials!
Woofest regards, Alfie x
